WestConnect (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website westconnect.uk (the “Platform”). We are a UK-based emigration marketplace that connects people planning to move abroad with vetted service providers including immigration lawyers, moving companies, tax advisors, and other relocation specialists.
We are the data controller for the personal data collected through this Platform. This means we decide how and why your personal data is used.

- Qualification flow responses: your intended destination country, timeline for moving, estimated budget, family situation (e.g. whether you are moving alone or with dependants), and the types of services you need.
- Enquiry details: the information you include when contacting service providers through our Platform.
- Payment information: if you purchase a premium consultation, your payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Communications: any messages, feedback, or reviews you submit through the Platform or by email.
2.2 Data We Collect Automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked, and how you interact with the Platform.
- Device information: your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device type.
- Cookies: we use cookies and similar technologies as described in our separate Cookie Policy.
We do not collect any special category data (such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, or political opinions).

When you submit an enquiry through the Platform, we share your name, email, and relevant qualification flow details with the service providers you select. Each service provider is an independent data controller and will process your data under their own privacy policy. We recommend reading their privacy policy before engaging their services.

5. International Transfers
Some of our technology partners are based outside the United Kingdom. When your data is transferred internationally, we ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards:
- Transfers to the EU/EEA (Supabase, Brevo) are covered by the UK’s adequacy decision for the EU.
- Transfers to the United States (Stripe, Google) are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
